Andover Public Library card

Getting a library card is easy. Bring a valid photo ID and stop by the Circulation Desk to complete an application. Applicants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when obtaining a library card. Learn more about borrowing and renewal policies.

  • Your library card gives you access to books, movies, digital resources, and more. As a fine-free library, materials checked out from the Andover Public Library do not accrue daily overdue fees.
  • Patrons may check out up to 50 items at a time. Accounts with 50 or more overdue items will be temporarily blocked until materials are returned. Materials borrowed from the Andover Public Library may be returned to any CLEVNET member library for added convenience.
  • The Andover Public Library is a member of CLEVNET. We welcome library cards from other CLEVNET member libraries and do not issue duplicate cards to current cardholders.
  • Patrons are responsible for all materials checked out on their library card. Lost or damaged items may result in replacement charges, and fees may apply in accordance with library policies.
