A notary's primary responsibility is to ensure that signers are who they claim to be, are signing willingly, and understand the contents of the documents they are signing.
To ensure availability, please call ahead at 440-293-6792 or reserve a time online to schedule a notary appointment. All signers must be present and provide a valid, government-issued photo identification at the time of appointment.
We provide notary services free of charge as a courtesy to the community. While there is no fee for this service, donations are appreciated and help support library programs and services. Not all documents can be notarized, and library notaries reserve the right to decline service if the requirements for notarization cannot be met.
